This play is Beckettian in its willingness to “go on” despite itself and its ostensible trajectory; Ed can’t get enough of the solo show format, even if it kills him. Further, Ed believes that he resembles Mark Twain more than Kurt Vonnegut, which is a very nice thing for him to believe. I would see this show once a day for several days if given the chance!
What I didn't like
Nothing. No improvement is possible. Always be closing, dear Ed.

My overall impression
After a thorough washing of my brain, I now have the psychological clarity to confirm: Ed Goodman is not only ol’ timey, but good timey; Ed Goodman is, in fact, a good man. Also, this is the best solo play ever written because it allowed me to hold a fake gun to Ed’s head for 5 minutes, after which the audience demanded I pull the trigger.
