Alive-ish

What I liked

Anabella Funk is beautiful to watch on stage – her vulnerability and pain are starkly apparent. And behind her, the musicians who back her up play haunting music that interweaves very well with the storyline. I saw the preview and I look forward to revisiting it later during Fringe

What I didn't like

I sat toward the back and anytime Anabella went to the floor for her blocking, I missed what was going on because I couldn’t see.

My overall impression

Alive-ish is a dark and strangely beautiful look at one woman’s battle with incest, abandonment, and her flirtation with suicide.
