What I liked
This was different from the solo shows I’m used to seeing. It was similar to a story telling show, but with characters and diagrams along with it. I loved that it was different in this way and it gave me all sorts of inspiration on how to make another one-person show.
What I didn't like
The fact that it ended.
My overall impression
Marla is so likable and it makes us fall in love with her and her show the second she steps on the stage. There is not a single part of her that the audience dislikes and we are rooting for her the whole way. I so appreciate and admire her honesty and candor and how she so easily transitioned from humor to devastation so smoothly and with ease. I hope she makes another show because I will for sure be in that audience. If you decide to skip this show, you are making a sorry mistake. Get your butt in one of those seats and see for yourself.
