What I liked

The truth being explored in a situation that most people would rather not think about. The whole cast is excellent and the staging worked really well.

What I didn't like

Nothing comes to mind.

My overall impression

Dreams clashing with stark reality can be brutal. Mix in celebrity worship, grandiose delusions, depression and suicidal ideation and you’ve got a recipe for potential disaster. This show explores how 3 young people struggle with their desire to be successful musicians in Hollywood. Their options in reaching that goal is limited by differences in circumstance, talent and most importantly mental stability.

At the core of this show is a somewhat understated and yet exceptionally powerful performance by Dan Schultz. As his character was revealed to be more and more fragile I found myself wanting someone to give him a big hug and call a therapist. It is a powerful and thought-provoking show all around.
