What I liked
I had no idea that I needed this in the middle of my day! What a sweet surprise being able to sit and enjoy the showtunes that I’ve grown up listening to. I SO loved how the band was playing when we walked in. It felt like I was going out for an evening concert. Victoria’s talks in-between the songs gave me insight into what kind of entertainer and person she is, and I loved learning about these parts of her life. These introductions for each song made us like her even more!
What I didn't like
I would love to see this show again but at a different venue. It’s fringe and of course there aren’t any outside venues but it would be cool to see this outside in the evening.
My overall impression
Victoria is relatable and invites the audience into a small slice of her life growing up in LA. I loved how I could relate to the moments of young adulthood that she told us about (boys, high school). Hopefully I’ll get to see Victoria perform again!
