What I liked

Not a typical operetta and the writer combined a lot – accents, styles of singing, etc. It took something old and made it fresh. Each character added another depth to the show. I liked the awkwardness between Jon and Hope. And there were a couple special moments in the music with everyone singing that the balance was really nice. It hit all the emotions – funny, happy, regretful, hopeful, love, remorse…
It gave me more than I was expecting.

What I didn't like

I couldn’t tell the difference between the two blonde “women of the night”, except that they were both stupid and one had a bigger chest. I would suggest more distinctive characteristics for those too and a little less shaking on the one girl with the larger chest (She has the chest; I was a little afraid she was going to fall out).
PS …Did Hope have Red Hair?

My overall impression

It was fun, full of energy and talent!
