What I liked
The actors were all very energetic and portrayed their characters perfectly! The three dancer girls were my favorite aspect to the show- each with very original and distinct personalities. Jessie was the highlight for me with every facial expression and action she did! As well as Phil Meyer.. always a pleasure to watch! I enjoyed the smaller intimate theater setting as well.
What I didn't like
The background music at times was a bit overwhelming to the small theater of excellent singers. It was not distracting enough to take away from the performance, but the balance was a bit uneven and almost louder than the singers at times.
My overall impression
The show was great! A lot of hilarious moments and witty punchlines. Brooke is an awesome person and a great writer. This is the second show I have seen of hers (Monkey’s Paw 2017) and it never ceases to amaze me! The show was just an hour long- the perfect amount of time for a quick plot with many dynamic levels of drama/comedy.
