A harrowing, yet humorous and audience-friendly account of the writer/performer's journey into, through, and out of Scientology. More than any articles, documentaries, or reports I've ever known, this led me to grasp, not just the most extreme of what the Church of Scientology does or has done, but how it works. Most specifically, how it progresses with its adherents from a Self-Esteem-building service into a controlling force. Pure brilliance, and potentially life-changing.... full review

I was afraid a "one person show" would be another self absorbed thing I have sat through that actors put on. For the first few minutes it was about her family and not Scientology and I was concerned. but that ended up just setting the scene and 95% of the show was about Scientology. Her hyperactive delivery and playing of various roles was quite impressive. ... full review

Great show~!! A lot of laughs mixed into a more serious subject. This woman spent a small fortune in Scientology and made it to the top levels. She is a survivor of a group of predatory assholes. Recommend this ~~~!!!!!!! ... full review

Squeeze My Cans, created and performed by Cathy Schenkelberg, should be on the top of your list of shows to see. Cathy is a bold, present, passionate and vulnerable artist. My wife and I laughed and cried as Cathy shared her heart and soul.... full review

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT! Great story, though I know it was an expensive story to live, it was well done with class, humor and sincerity. Cathy told a truthful account of being tricked into this cult. She's also very brave to take on Tom Cruise. . ha ha. I would encourage you to see this play if you have the chance!!... full review

Fringe is full on one person shows of people telling stories from their life. If you see only one, it should be this one. Kathy is so energetic onstage, you don;t feel like she is telling a story, she is taking you along for the ride.... full review

Cathy Schenkelberg is phenomenally entertaining, real, comical and, without missing a beat, serious when the script calls for it. An incredible story about surviving the Scientology’s cult that will leave you paranoid and shaking your head in disbelief.... full review
