What I liked
Ms. Walker is an engaging storyteller and her story is intense. This journey is a triumph of the human spirit. I was gutted, and uplifted.
What I didn't like
I don’t know what I could say that would improve this. I have seen more “put-together” theatre pieces, but the story is so compelling, I think Shari Walker could just stand there and tell it and it would be engaging.
My overall impression
You may find more polished pieces of theatre, but few as moving. Shari Walker will break and heal your heart.
I only wish I had bought my ticket online before sales closed instead of paying cash at the door, so I could be listed as a “certified reviewer.”
