What I liked
Performer J. Cho is a natural star. He wrote an absolutely enjoyable and fresh show.
What I didn't like
There was a horribly drunk person in the audience, front row, who distracted everyone during the show with his whistles and call outs. Cho was a total professional and got through it without being knocked off his game, but as an audience member I did feel my attention was stolen at times. But nothing to do with the show itself.
My overall impression
I absolutely loved this show. It is sincerely one of my favorite (top 2 for sure) of every show I’ve seen so far – of about a dozen this weekend. I have been recommending it to everyone I know. I had no idea what to expect and I was utterly charmed by the performance, writing, and direction. If you remember those old Mickey Rooney films, or Rooney’s interviews in his older age, you’ll get a huge kick out of this. GO!!
