What I liked
The gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying. You tap to hook, release to unhook, and strategically time your swings to propel your stickman from one point to the next. As you progress, the levels get trickier, introducing moving platforms, tighter gaps, and more complex layouts that demand precise timing and a good sense of trajectory. Each successful swing feels like a mini-victory, and the fast-paced nature means you can quickly restart after a comical, physics-defying fall.
What I didn't like
What makes Stickman Hook so appealing is its perfect blend of challenge and accessibility. Anyone can pick it up and play, but mastering the art of the perfect swing takes practice and a bit of finesse. It’s a fantastic time-waster, offering quick bursts of fun that are easy to jump into and hard to put down. Plus, seeing your stickman flail around after a failed jump always gets a laugh. It’s just pure, unadulterated, swinging fun.
My overall impression
So, stickman hook is this super addictive mobile game where you control a little stickman trying to swing through a series of levels. Think Spider-Man, but with a lot more ragdoll physics and a simpler, almost minimalist art style. The core mechanic is just tapping to hook onto anchor points and swinging your way forward, trying to build momentum and avoid falling into the void. It’s deceptively simple, but that’s where the fun really kicks in.
