I liked her use of humor in bring to us the relationship dynamics; not everyone has disfunction in the family due to the shadow of the holocaust or from escaping the communists, yet her comedic sense and imagery made it real and somehow accessible.
What I didn't like
I felt the scene during which she finds a sort of release and forgiveness through the interaction with the young Russian actor could have been stronger: there needs to be more there to build this scene’s legacy. I felt that the moment she feels this release was not as full and rich as earlier parts of the play.
