The show is well written and performed by Dagmar. Her characters are so recognizable, full of innuendos that set them all apart that it was meant for her to perform them as she knows them so well. Beautiful job... and nice, dirty underwear to go around!...

Dagmar Stansova knocked it out of the park. I laughed and danced in my seat. I wept. Dagmar is masterful. Her stage presence is magnetic, accessible, and richly textured. Her story, a combo of how one finds oneself/who one is/how one becomes who one is + who the child is/who the parent is/what they are together + the Holocaust + what/who one loves in one's life + who came before us + who we will become + James Brown--just to try to abstract it--shone light into corners of darkness. Her insights are profound and uplifting. The manner in which she shares them is riveting. Her spirit and resolve are contagious. Her telling of her journey is Her show is moving and powerful. I can't stop thinking about it. ...

What a treat! There wasn't a moment when my attention wandered. Dagmar is a riveting performer. She carries a fascinating life-long narrative with consulate acting skills, delightful body movement and multiple language skills-- all with amazing ease, emotional depth and plentiful humor. The show is well paced, with fine direction and excellent technical assists. You won't regret heading out to see this one!...

Dagmar Stanaova's "Loose Underwear" left tear-streaked marks of her genius as I settled into its emotional impact of raw honesty, smart humor and the personal reckoning with her past, that is all of ours, through the lens of her mother's experience as a Holocaust survivor. In short, I was awakened and moved. Told with grace, wit and the kind of connection that can only come from the truth of who she is sparked a universal truth of knowing: We all come from a lineage of ghosts, cellular memories, and the creative power to change the course of our personal and collective histories....

The show was a powerful emotional journey that made me laugh and cry. Her performance draws upon the memories of a Jewish family escaping Communist Czechoslovakia, an child immigrant trying to fit in and a young woman finding love and Artistic freedom in America. It was a fascinating and compelling experience! ...
