What I liked
The moment surrounding a certain Academy Award nominated song was pitch-perfect and brilliant. One of my favorite moments of the festival.
Each character felt so distinct and had a unique point of view. The lighting and sound cues elevated some stellar storytelling.
What I didn't like
There was one singular thing that I did not like – the people in the fourth row who kept taking out their phones to take photos during the show. The pre-show announcement specifically said no photos or video – c’mon people!
My overall impression
Believe the hype surrounding this show. One of the most haunting, hilarious, and surprisingly endearing theatrical experiences there is.
