I like how Fiasco chose three stories from Dario Fo and focused the performance around the theme of religion, specifically Western religious thought and Christianity. Never was it didactic or proselytizing, but illuminating and thought-provoking.
The actors themselves were so engaging to watch, so malleable and imaginative. It really was an entertaining performance.
What I didn't like
Perhaps a larger cast?
My overall impression
Childhood memories of story time is brought to beautiful life with this piece! The actors are so adept with their physical theatre skills, navigating story and direct address with nuanced fluency. Fiasco Physical Theatre Co. really makes you see how the imagination of the actor and the audience are all you need to enjoy an evening at the theatre.
