What I liked
the music, set and limited props. Royce was very engaged with the audience and it almost felt like we were have a direct 1:1 conversation. He’s a great storyteller and very animated. I laughed out loud from start to finish.
What I didn't like
I think some of the stories can be shortened. While I enjoyed the fact that he painted a full picture, I do feel like some of the scenes can be shortened to avoid “losing” the audience.
My overall impression
I thought the show was absolutely hysterical. As a millennial, the story was very relatable having battled the corporate 9-5 blues and wanting to have a"Eat, Pray, Love" lifestyle. I also, enjoyed the use of mixed media – it provided an elevated experience and made me feel like I was on the journey with Royce.
