Matthew Latkiewicz’s performance as the emcee set the tone for this excellent piece. Dark turns, great dystopian jokes, and conversations about the value of life, happiness, and fulfillment all packed into a timeshare presentation? Sign me up.
What I didn't like
This is truly picking nits, but in the final lighting cue of the show some of the actors’ faces were obscured. Let this be a testament to the quality of this show, that the only negative thing I have to say is about one single lighting cue.
My overall impression
What a showcase in clever, funny, dystopian world-building. Extremely well-written and performed expertly, I’ll be recommending this show to anyone looking for a fulfilling experience at the theatre.
