What I liked
I loved the use of costume pieces and lighting. Ms Sheffield is a dynamic performer, slipping seamlessly in and out of multiple roles. I was fascinated by her story and wasn’t ready for it to end!
This was the 4th show I’d seen on that day, so that says a lot that someone could hold my attention!
This is definitely one to check out.
What I didn't like
I only wish I’d seen more of C.C. Sheffield as herself. She’s wonderful playing all the people around her, but I wanted to see a little more of HER, straight from her heart.
My overall impression
Very engaging performer dances around her life story in a host of fascinating characterizations.
