In short: incredible. Candid, sweet, yet darkly funny and brutally honest, SEALED manages to be both revealing and self-effacing. Even as someone already impressed by Jane's work ethic and talent, I still found myself blown away by her ability to combine humor with heartbreak; to do so alone on a stage with only her life as her material makes it all the more remarkable. Revealing, uplifting and totally hilarious. Jane’s honest telling of her marriage inside the Mormon church is worth price of admission alone; the fact that she tells her story with big laughs and unexpected emotional swings (there wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the end) makes this easily one of the best shows I’ve seen on fringe.
