The make up of the Lion character was amazing. The wardrobe and sets were accurate and made you feel like “you’re there.” Music selection was great and the acting was superb even with many first-time actors. Loved that the audience could participate and there was this feeling that you were part of something by the end of the play.
What I didn't like
Minor spelling errors in the subtitles and in one scene the music volume overpwowered the actors’ voices. Aside from these minor things, the play was strong.
My overall impression
The play was amazing. Heartfelt actors that dealt with a topic that is difficult for many to talk about. Had to fight back tears many times as the power of the actors made the pain they felt in their characters feel universal. Can’t wait to see what’s next for this show and for Miss Godoy.
