What I liked

The storytelling was incredibly potent— a woman behind me ran out of the theatre as she was feeling so emotional. I appreciated the super titles, and that it allowed the entire play to happen in Spanish while being accessible to those who are not fluent. It was also very moving to see and know these were real people who experienced this injustice and were making a stand to better their lives. It was also beautiful to see this support of women for women and their LGBTQ allies within the Latinx community.

What I didn't like

The predatory lion-man was a little comical… I wonder if a more abstract representation of the monster/beast would have been more effective.

My overall impression

A powerful and important show. Very emotional to hear these stories shared, and highlights the importance of standing up for impactful legislation that protects the vulnerable.
