¡Ya Basta! Was an emotional piece of work that revealed the trials and tribulations that most of us did not know the janitors were enduring at the work place. Everything was so well done, from scene changes to actors to a smooth storyline. ... full review

First. A bit of a disclaimer. The producer, director, and co-playwright Jeannette Godoy has been my dear friend for over 20 years. This play was phenomenal. The actors pulled me into their stories of pain and struggle. I couldn’t hold back my tears several times. By the end the play I was feeling empowered and unified yelling “Ya Basta”! The production was excellent from authentic sets that brought the audience into the janitors workplace, to the lighting and music that amplified the feelings of pain and strength of the struggle against sexual violence. “Ya Basta: Times Been Up” regenerates my belief in the power of theater. Thank you to all those involved in the process of making this play happen. Great job my friend. ... full review

It was an amazing show. They did an amazing job bringing us back to the 90s. Great selection of music, good job setting up the stage for each scene. The actresses were able to bring us into the story and pull at out heart strings. The entire play was about sexual harassment and assault in the workplace. ... full review

It was a powerful tribute to the survivors in an industry where too often workers can feel powerless. I appreciated it’s authenticity.... full review

The play was amazing. Heartfelt actors that dealt with a topic that is difficult for many to talk about. Had to fight back tears many times as the power of the actors made the pain they felt in their characters feel universal. Can't wait to see what's next for this show and for Miss Godoy.... full review

I know this theatre is off the beaten path but please, I beg you, give it a try. Not only is the space just stunning, but this is also the kind of social justice theatre we need more of in this unjust world. There were moments where pace lagged or transitions took a while but those are quickly forgotten the second the action picked back up. If you aren't impacted by the stories that are told here, I don't even know what you are but you aren't fully human. If you don't notice how many people in the audience around you are silently crying along with the women on stage, you need to wake up. ... full review

Unfortunately I missed the show because the parking situation is ridiculous and your security guard is quite a rude person so I paid for my ticket I Went on that area for the show only. I leave in San Gabriel Valley but it was already 1:25 and I was still looking for parking so I’m upset about that. Next time put signs where to park. Again I’m upset I miss it because I couldn’t find parking. 😡 ... full review
