I loved the show. As an immigrant, it was inspiring to see immigrant women janitors bring to life the real life struggles they face as they try to carve out a better future for themselves and their families. But this was not just a show- this was true life; this was the courage that I’ve seen janitors bring to the battle for their rights as workers and now for respect as women. It made me laugh; it made me cry to hear their words of the abuse they’ve encountered; and it made me rejoice to see them stand up and fight back. ... full review

Janitors share the history of their union and their current struggle to keep themselves safe from sexual assault on the job and other oppressive forces they face as immigrant workers.
