Yas lady-led cast, yas PoC, yas older woman role as well! Also, yas female playwright. Yas queer characters!
What I didn't like
I did wonder if the tone from the beginning was a bit too dark off the bat? Like I knew from the get go that this factory was complete and total bad news, and I wonder if that opening scene was played differently if it would give a different feel? Not really something that needs to be improved, just a thought that I pondered about the opening and tone.
My overall impression
A play that covers a lot of important and pertinent topics. My cast mate and I left our showing in deep discussion about the moral decisions we would make if we were given the power of the Masher, which is the point of theatre: to get people talking.
