The cast was pitch perfect! Every actor on stage was invested and committed, making each moment they were on stage entertaining and engaging. I also loved the lighting/technical execution of the screen text. Each cutaway text was hilariously executed in a way that was both comical and heartbreaking as I learned of new facts about Lyme disease. I walked away entertained and educated, both frustrated by the journey of our protagonist and hopeful that she’s found relief (in real life).
What I didn't like
There were a few moments in transitions between scenes that I felt could be tighter for pacing, and some moments where it was harder to hear actors mics, but overall I was thoroughly impressed by this show and excited to see more from this creative team.
My overall impression
I loved this show! In a day of spinoffs and sequels, it was so refreshing to see a wholly original musical. I laughed and learned and walked away with that sense of community and togetherness that only comes from live theater.
