What I liked
Great music, fun performances, unique and interesting topic!
What I didn't like
The scenes were extremely short and the transitions were frequent – it would work when filmed, but on stage, the direction could have been more fluid or the writing could have consolidated scenes into longer sequences for a more fluid production.
My overall impression
Upbeat and funny, LYME DISEASE (and NOT “Lyme’s” – which, ironically, I heard someone say on TV a few hours after I watched this show) THE MUSICAL had great performances, terrific music, and a heartbreaking topic (don’t worry, it IS a comedy). How can you not like a show narrated by a six-foot tick? GREAT EXPECTATIONS should have been narrated this way!
