What I liked

Matt does a great job roasting the kind of self-indulgent, naive, sheltered kid that might put up a very navel gaze-y, typical LA one man show, but he also treats the subject of depression and mental health with compassion. Was surprised and pleased that the ending had a sweetness to it. That bird costume was weird and awesome.

What I didn't like

I think I would’ve loved even more heart throughout the piece to tie it all together and help thread us through caring for this character earlier.

My overall impression

funny, meta take on Fringe shows, with a surprisingly sweet ending
