What I liked

The cast and the script are superb. The idea that even women as different as a Duchess and a stripper can find common ground due in large part to the patriarchal, sexist culture we live in is a great subject to explore and it’s done splendidly here. The production also made about as good of use of a Fringe space as I’ve seen. So kudos to the director and the whole team. Great piece of work.

What I didn't like

I’m sure that in a full run a fantastic dressing room from the early 60’s would be built, adding to the atmosphere. But the play was so well written, acted, directed and staged that it really doesn’t miss it. It’s all right there.

My overall impression

Fascinating and fun hour with two superb lead performances by Alli Miller and Blaire Chandlerand and funny supporting work by Krista Conti. The script is tight and tells a great story of two women from about as different backgrounds as can be who somehow find some common ground in early 60’s Baltimore.
