"Compelling" is a word that has been used about the two play production "Two Naked Angels", and I agree. Both "Death Unit" by Robert Gardner and "Lost Voices" by Rodney Nugent are intense, finely written and powerfully portrayed confrontations with very real emotion. Yet "Death Unit" is infused with humor amidst a feeling of the macabre. With a philosophy reminiscent of the catharsis of New Orleans jazz funerals, old-timer Mister Shoehorn, in a standout performance by G. The women share experiences of horrific abuse - an a fierce insistence that they will surivive.... full review

Both of these one acts are extremely powerful with incredible actors in each of them. The two actors in the first play are opposite in many ways, but they compliment each other perfectly. There is surprising twist. In the second one act, the woman of this piece are so strong and incredible. It's disturbing on many levels and the acting is top notch! ... full review
