What I liked
In Robert’s pieceI loved the use of light to create atmosphere. I also loved the actor, Smokie’s body language and creative ways he added suspense to the fabric of the piece. My favorite thing about Robert’s piece however was the rarely heard message within it.
In Rodney’s piece I loved the setup he created in order to share his character’s stories! It always touches me deeply when men showcase women’s challenges at the hands of men. The creative way he presented hurtful truths and the actors presenting them made for an touching evening of theatre indeed.
What I didn't like
In Rodney’s piece some of the sound effects were distracting for me.
My overall impression
Loved it! I loved the journey these provocative pieces took me on. Each piece give voice to those who are seldom heard.
