What I liked

I like that this is a period Play and takes place in an awkward position; a train station in German Nazi occupation’ most possibly a transfer station to the concentration camps. Our main & soul character take us through journey’s, he’s a storyteller telling stories to survive and we get so caught up in the stories because the actor is a master of physical theater and relays creates multiple characters so intertwinely and smoothly that you could forget you’re even looking at the stage at times. Even though some of the adult connotations represent a deeper scarier past, children that would not understand these would still be entertained by the physical characterizations this talented actor represents; (Much like our Warner brother cartoons produced during world war II) I have studied musical theater and physical action and theater and dance and love the styles of Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, the Nicholas Brothers, Jerry Lewis, Jim Carrey ect. And I really feel this actor is one to be watched. The character takes us through stories of old children’s fables but with twisted plots which end up symbolic metaphors of realistic pastime tragedies. This has potential at times to become story within story within story.

What I didn't like

I felt the writing was well-thought-out and creative however a little disappointed by the punchline I felt a more dramatic ending could have been appropriate to take this play over the top, this is only a factor which affects the last few minutes of the play. I also felt like the actor may have felt rushed that he was actually doing an potentially 120-minute play and under 90 minutes, enough to wind any artist and cause them loose split second focus on a moment. I was thoroughly entertained.

My overall impression

Masterfull
