What I liked
A Falling Star at Buzzard’s Roost doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly why it works so well. It’s a hand-clapping, heart-thumping celebration of music, memory, and the strange, wonderful ride of life itself.
What I didn't like
The fact Slope Game that there’s no pit band only makes it more magical: every beat, riff, and rhythm is played live by the actors themselves, bringing an infectious, onstage energy that audiences can feel.
My overall impression
A Falling Star at Buzzard’s Roost is a joyful triumph of heart, humor, and harmony—a rare theatrical gem that captures the spirit of rock ’n’ roll with pure retro delight. It’s not just a musical comedy—it’s a time-traveling jukebox of charm, powered by a magnetic cast whose musicianship is just as impressive as their comedic timing.
