What I liked
Brigitte told her story simply and compellingly. And I got to eat! What’s not to be happy about??
What I didn't like
The food served was unexpected, not as in theme as I would have hoped. I’m sure there was a legit reason technically, though.
My overall impression
A play about Vietnamese food? Of course it will have food! I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one-woman show, and I was so glad I came. It’s especially satisfying to listen to someone tell a wonderful story that is so close to home. Simple and engaging, with lots of wonderful stuff to try.
