What I liked
The pace with which we work through the family recipes, DNA surprises and family holiday dynamics in this production is funny and entertaining. Brigitte is an excellent actress that brings you literally into her kitchen with her grandmother right there with you.
What I didn't like
The ending of the story came too quickly, I still felt there was more to share. Maybe a little pacing or maybe I was distracted by all the great food smells!
My overall impression
What a creative way to talk about ancestry and how we get to where we are today. This one woman show brings to life what we all go through as we age and try to learn and embrace our heritage. Well done with food, holidays and family dynamics.
