What I liked
Chrystal’s honesty is raw and painful. She shies away from nothing in this story while also making us laugh with her at the absurdity of some of her real life experiences. Her portrayal of the different characters in her life is so engaging that this one woman show becomes peopled with many colorful personalities and we care about all of them.
What I didn't like
There were some sound and lighting cues that were distracting.
My overall impression
This was an intimate experience – like a conversation with a dear girlfriend. Chrystal Bush is very welcoming and inclusive and we were pulled in, laughing and tearing up almost immediately. The casual way she addresses her audience makes the fourth wall disappear little by little as the show progresses until the end when she is talking directly to each of us.
