What I liked

I enjoyed the character Aamir, watching his conflict and struggle throughout the play. The actor who portrays Aamir is very passionate. His performance is very moving throughout the entire play. He instantly grabs your attention with his performance. The other main character to capture my attention was Major Steve Campbell. The actor delivered such a heartfelt and emotional performance. I was instantly invested in his storyline, and all that his character was going through. He definitely held my attention.
Next was the stunning and very talented Naia. I loved the energy, activism, intellect and devotion that her character possessed. A character with much charm and confidence.
I could go on about the entire cast, as each individual actor brought something very special to the stage. You get a sense of a genuine camaraderie with this cast, which definitely resonates on stage. Well done Radicals!

What I didn't like

Some slight technical quirks; however, I was so engaged, that they were barely noticeable. With any production, there’s always room for improvement.

My overall impression

Radicals is a play that I could see more than once. I genuinely enjoyed the journey that this play takes you on. Such a heartfelt story that delves into very real and relevant issues in today’s world. The perfect mixture of drama, fun, and lively entertainment, all while stirring up thought-provoking ideas. I truly enjoyed every moment of Radicals, one of the best in this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival.
