I thought it was a very creative and unique show sparked by new world technology and humor. The combination of opera and piano was delightful to see in such a show. This show really brings out the idea of respecting yourself and if you make mistakes not to beat yourself up about it. CKM, age 12 My middle school aged daughter loved seeing a show created, composed and directed by young women. As an aspiring writer and musician herself, it's so important to me for her to see that it's possible to succeed in creative pursuits! AK... full review

This was a delightful one woman rom-com. Light hearted but not full of fluff because of the depth and talent of Alena Bernardi. She is classically trained and possesses a phenomenal vocal instrument. She engaged the audience seemingly effortlessly with all the tools of her trade (acting, dancing, singing, comedy) in an interesting story with compelling music. ... full review

This is the best solo show I have ever seen. The music, the storyline, the lyrics, the acting, the dancing, the comedy and the amazing way it was enunciated through the songs to tell the story and all the jokes, I laughed so hard, and everything was kept relatively clean, child approved I would say. I'll definitely be going again next weekend!... full review

A fun exploration of modern dating with incredible vocal acrobatics performed by Alena Bernardi. Get ready for melismas galore. For music lovers you will get some good laughs from classical music references and musical comedy. An enjoyable variety of characters are portrayed by Alena and she shows the true gambit of her vocal stylings and techniques through the 75 minute performance. ... full review

Among the best of the Fringe ! This is a comedic look at phone-app dating seen through the eyes of Alena's fictional persona Polly. Alena is a total talent -- professional opera-level voice, killer lyrics (she co-wrote with the director), Broadway-level performance ! This one-woman show has a live keyboardist, and Alena's singing voice fills the Hudson. The lyrics are Disney-level sharp; Alena also plays all the other characters and two more live instruments, flute and ukulele. There were also a number of recorded sound effects, which came in right on time. One of the best solo shows -- and Fringe shows -- I have seen.... full review

I am blown away! Swiped the musical has it all. Interesting storyline, incredibly relatable and entertaining. The main character Polly takes you on a captivating journey of her experiences of online dating in LA. Alena Bernardi is a force to be reckoned with! Her stage presence, voice, acting, dancing and instrumental skills are truly phenomenal. Swiped strikes the perfect balance of both humor and sentiment and finishes with a beautiful message. In the end, itโ€™s not about chasing the love of others but learning how to love ourselves. Swiped is a must see show! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽญ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป ... full review

Exciting and painfully relatable, this tale of a control freak experiencing online dating will make you laugh, think and "aw" quite a bit, because Polly is rather romantic despite herself. So don't left-swipe it, this show is a real catch!... full review
