What I liked
The music was very strong. Alena and her book writer were able to seamlessly transition between scenes (no easy feat in a one person show!), and the show had a carefully planned direction. It was a great way for her to show her operatic vocals as well as a more musical theater sound. And dang she plays so many instruments!
What I didn't like
MORE GRANNY BEA!
My overall impression
Funny and heartfelt multi-character one woman show. Great music. Showcased the performer (Alena) really well and allowed her other talents to shine as well (she is an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist).
