What I liked
Alena Bernardi is an incredibly talented writer and performer with a wide comedic range, a commanding stage presence and a beautiful voice that can easily slay many genres of music. She’s able to effortlessly juggle multiple characters at once with minute changes in body language. Her performance is captivating and charming, and her writing is creative and witty. The entire team involved with this production deserves high accolades, and I sincerely hope that this isn’t the last we see of this show.
What I didn't like
I would love to see what would happen if this show were performed in a more intimate setting with more improvised audience interaction. I feel like this would help to play up the funnier bits of this well-executed production and make it even stronger.
My overall impression
A delightful, musically ambitious look into one woman’s challenge of finding the right guy.
