What I liked

Saurabh was so sincere in both the details of his childhood and the re-telling of everything the people in his life had to say. It really felt like he held true to the reality of his experiences instead of fictionalizing stories in order to have a more thrilling or theatrical performance, and I mean that in the best way. His stories were honest and invited nostalgia for me. When he put down the tape on the ground and used that to explain half-measures, and then brought that back later on, I loved that. I really liked the celebrities that Saurabh put up on the screen in order to give us a better idea of what the characters looked like. It helped to keep track of the stories as he would say names of people. I loved how he spoke about Noor. It was just lovely. Sigh…first loves!

What I didn't like

I think the show could be longer. I wanted a more fleshed out ending because when it ended, I was surprised that was the ending. I could have easily sat there for another 20 min. I don’t know that we needed the titles of each section of the show. Espionage sounds cool but I don’t know that it played out perfectly in the story. I loved Mission Impossible coming up but I would have loved to hear more story from Saurabh instead of seeing the whole trailer to the movie. I think most of my notes for improving the show would include, just hearing more story from Saurabh himself. I could also stand for more pictures! Those were super fun. I really loved this show!

My overall impression

I loved how personal the show was. It felt like we were invited into Saurabh’s living room during a family reunion.
