What I liked

The witty writing, the entertaining staging, the raw fearless energy of the actors.

What I didn't like

It’s all good.

My overall impression

Crack Whore, Bulimic, Girl Next Door is a bold, gut wrenching and impossibly funny exploration of the tormented inner world of a depressed bulimic woman. The acting is raw, edgy and fearless. Sound grim? It’s not. Marnie Olsons writing is so devastatingly self deprecating and honest that with a few dance numbers, a rollicking sound track, artful lighting by Joshua Silva, and fast paced witty staging by director Jenny Chun it all comes crashing together in this riveting entertaining one act roller coaster of a play. A warning: Do not feel badly for laughing inappropriately, the humor, like a healing beam of bouncing light is intentionally pointed at the darkest scariest parts of ourselves.
