The staging and actors’ timing was particularly polished, especially for the relatively small space and the physical work required. The movements seemed very well choreographed and rehearsed.
What I didn't like
A few times the actors and tech were out of sync, but it was opening night and likely won’t be an issue going forward.
My overall impression
This is a show that dances skillfully between moments of extreme darkness and irreverent comedy. It is one woman’s coming of age story told through the three titular versions of herself, versions that represent either how she views herself or how she thinks the world expects her to be. Through issues of depression, sex, body image, societal norms, the characters explore whether love of another necessarily requires love of oneself.
