The darkest subjects brought to humorous light and handed with care & dignity.
What I didn't like
A couple of the actresses could work on the smoothness of their performance. Their easy on stage, with a hard subject & hectic show that is something which improves with successive performances however.
My overall impression
Riveting, raw, real & a riot Crack Whore, Bulimic, Girl Next Door opts for an anesthetic of darkest humour drawing you into a complex and beautiful story of healing and self-love.
I have never seen a dark story end with such beautiful hope, handled with grace & dignity. If you’re a woman (or know one) who has been through the dark, this is the beautiful medicine you need this Fringe Season.
