What I liked
The next rule makes things even tougher. You are not allowed to draft any player with a rating above three stars. This means you’ll need to develop average talent into reliable starters instead of relying on elite prospects. Building a championship roster becomes a long-term project rather than a quick rebuild.
What I didn't like
To increase the difficulty, set the game to Extreme mode. Every opponent will be strong, every mistake will be punished, and even teams with losing records can become dangerous. Winning games requires near-perfect execution on both offense and defense.
My overall impression
The challenge starts with retro bowl one simple rule: begin a new save file and choose the worst team available. From that point forward, you cannot use any coaching credits to improve facilities, hire better coaches, or extend contracts early. Every decision must be made with the resources naturally provided by the game.
