I enjoyed the Mathew Robinson’s script and the well directed (thank you, Robby Devillez) ensemble, natch’, the well-drawn and individualized characters were a hoot — you gotta love Asia Pitts’ ‘Bama drawl and Sean-Michael Bowles’ nonplussed frustration — but was surprised at how much the well-scored scene changes moved the story along rather than being clunky and distracting.
What I didn't like
Saw the show at its first full run, so I was impressed as all get-out, the only thing I might change back to the scripted version was the, um, milk name…?
My overall impression
On point with current vibe, shameless pandering to snickers and groans. I loved it.
