What I liked
The world-building was brilliant, and the clash between the Beyonce rebels and Olivia Wilde stans was absolute chef’s kiss. Every single actor brought 110% to the stage and completely threw themselves into the madness. The comedic timing on the pop culture jokes was just spot on.
What I didn't like
Just some minor sound and staging tweaks. A few of the cleverest punchlines got swallowed during the heavy chaotic scenes because the actors were facing upstage or talking over each other. Pushing the vocal volume or tweaking the mics slightly during those wilder moments would make sure we don’t miss a single bit of the great writing!
My overall impression
What an absolute blast! This show is pure, unhinged energy from start to finish. The absurd premise and pop culture gags landed flawlessly. During the craziest parts of the play-within-a-play, the sheer chaotic tension honestly felt just like watching someone sweat through a stressful survival round of THE Kid at THEBACK Game—pure adrenaline but incredibly fun. Hands down one of the most entertaining Fringe shows I’ve seen.
