What I liked

The music and the singing was fantastic! Clever stage direction helped keep the story telling clear, and I appreciated how willing the story and cast were to go to some very vulnerable places.

I loved how they tied in Oscar Wilde’s story— it gave terrific context for the time and the struggle of the characters. His song might have been my favorite, and felt like it could have been the thesis for the whole story. Loved it.

What I didn't like

Mia’s written a BIG production. I look forward to one day (soon!) when her production budget matches her ambition. It will be a sight to see.

My overall impression

Mia Cotton is GOING PLACES. This felt like the tip of a very big iceberg of talent. Can’t wait to see what she’ll create next.
