What I liked
Mara and Mimi are both incredibly charming and the show was very well-structured. The staging – especially keeping them separate until they meet – worked splendidly, and I was completely engaged throughout. I wish everyone who has had difficulty accepting a friend or family member who has transitioned could see this show.
What I didn't like
A few of the slides they called for came up a little later than expected, but this did not detract from being immersed in their story.
My overall impression
An exceptional display of earnest, intimate, thoughtful storytelling. It was a privilege to hear this story of two people worth rooting for.
