A beautiful play that manages to pull off a tricky narrative structure, say something meaningful about depression and abuse, while being truly theatrical. I know it is adapted from an upcoming graphic novel and I'm sure there are several adaptational differences, but the way this story was told could only have worked in the theatre. Which is exciting to me, given how sick I am of naturalism on the stage.... full review

I can't wait to see where this production goes. It's originality, creativity, intimacy, and brilliant ensemble are just the kinds of things that should be getting this play produced to an even wider audience. It's a really important message delivered in the best possible way.... full review

It was simple yet brilliant. The show was a beautiful expression of what it means to grow up as a teenager with trauma. The fact that it was performed in a poetic/surrealist way, helped ease the viewer into the mindset of the main character. I would definetly reccommend this play to others.... full review

I loved this show! at first I didn't quite understand what was happening, but it didn't take long for the play to settle and for me to catch on to the style and after that, it was amazing. Had me in tears.... full review

Emotional and powerful, Silent Joy reveals itself to be much more than just a story of companionship, but a story of being your own guiding light. Circling deep into the rings of hell, the pain and torment behind the story is revealed, and the characters and audience are brought into a bright new world. ... full review
