It is an ambitious and thought-provoking production that explores the history of Afro-Brazilian resistance to slavery. The play’s use of Afro-Brazilian culture and dance, Capoeira, and music is impressive and adds depth to the story. The performances of the actors playing Ganga Zumba, General Zumbi, Dandara and the Exus are captivating and bring authenticity to the characters they portray. (I am not a certified reviewer.)
What I didn't like
Volume level of ceiling speakers needed to be lowered. At times, it was difficult to hear some of the dialogue.
